IRI Consultants to Management Among Detroit’s Best Workplaces

Detroit, MI (April 12, 2001) — IRI Consultants to Management, Inc. has been named one of Metro Detroit’s “101 Best and Brightest Companies” to work for. The Detroit Chamber of Commerce, Wayne State University, and LinWick and Associates sponsored the competition.

The 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For awards were established to honor those companies in each market that recognize employees as their greatest asset. These are companies that work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through their policies and Best Practices in human resource management. The competition was designed to demonstrate the area’s ideal places to work, and promote the strength of Detroit’s corporate community.

At the awards ceremony, IRI was described as a workplace with competitive wages, employee input on hiring, accessible management, and positive employee relations. “We really owe this award to our employees. They are the ones who make IRI one of the Best and Brightest,” said IRI Partner Bill Moskal. “We knew it all along. Now the rest of the world knows too.”

Nominees for the 101 Best and Brightest are evaluated on recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, training and education, corporate culture, diversity, and leadership. According to the competition sponsors, organizations that received the award are those who recognize employees as their greatest assets and work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through people. The selection, recognition and awarding of the 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For allows businesses to showcase these policies and Best Practices and demonstrate why each of them is an ideal place for employees to work.
