Detroit, Michigan (July 24, 2006) — IRI Consultants to Management, Inc. is pleased to announce that David Bassett has joined the firm as a Consultant.

Mr. Bassett is an experienced professional who specializes in public relations and corporate communications. Dave comes to IRI from Marx Layne & Co., Michigan's largest independent public relations and marketing firm, where he was vice president.

Mr. Bassett has 34 years in the communications business, including 22 years at what once was Ameritech/Michigan Bell, where for six years he was communications counsel to the company's labor relation department and bargaining team. Prior experience includes working in the Michigan Legislature as a speech writer and press secretary, and owning PR and golf marketing/management firms.
